



THE ST. PATRICK’S DAY CLASSIC
Run or enjoy a leisure stroll down Metairie Road before the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. For serious runners, don’t miss your ONLY chance to qualify for the Crescent City Classic 10k at the 2-mile distance.
The Race begins at 9:00 am outside Gennaro’s bar on Metairie Rd. at N. Causeway. The 2-mile course will proceed down the parade route on Metairie Rd. finishing at Frisco Ave – just before the train tracks on Metairie Rd.
Registration Information
REGISTRATION PRICING:
– Ranges from $30 – $35 depending on the time of registration. Please check the registration page for the current price.
– Children 6-12 receive a $5 discount.
– Children 5 and under are free! They do not receive a shirt or race bib.
ALL PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE:
– St. Patrick’s Day Classic timed bib
– Commemorative St. Patrick’s Day Classic t-shirt.
– St. Paddy’s Day drink specials at local Metairie Rd. bars!
– Post-race party held with beer, jambalaya and more!
EARLY PACKET PICK-UP OPTIONS:
WEDNESDAY 3/11/26: Participants can pick up shirts and race bibs at Raising Canes from 12noon to 3pm (4036 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70002). A friend can pick up your packet for you – we can look up your shirt size, etc on our registration app.

RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP OPTION: Participants can pick up their shirts and bibs on race day, Sunday 3/15/26, beginning at 8:00am inside Gennaro’s Restaurant located at 3206 Metairie Rd, Metairie, LA 70001. SHIRT SIZES NOT GUARANTEED ON RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP.

First Place Male and Female Finishers receive free 2026 CCC10K registration and St. Patrick’s Day Classic top finisher award.

CCC10K SEEDED START CORRAL INFO: The St. Patrick’s Day Classic is your ONLY opportunity to qualify for a CCC10K seeded corral at a 2-mile distance. Completing the 2026 St. Patrick’s Day Classic in the following times will qualify you for a seeded position in the 2026 CCC10k

Seeded 1 Corral: under 14:00 min (45:00 10K)
Seeded 2 Corral: 14:01-16:00 min (55:00 10K)

Team Discount
INVITE YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND SAVE $.
Teams of 10 or more participants will receive a $3 discount off of their registration fee. The initial member of the group will be able to create the team and team name. As other members of the group register, they will join the team by selecting the team name from the drop-down menu.
· The first 9 team members will pay the regular registration price. When the 10th person joins the team, he/she and all others who join the team will receive a $3 discount.
· As soon as the 10th registration is complete, the first 9 team members who are already registered will receive a $3 refund to their original form of payment.
*Children age 6-12 who received the kids discount and those who received the military discount will not qualify to receive the team discount as only one discount per registrant is allowed!
Course Description
The St. Patrick’s Day Classic course begins on Metairie Road, outside of Gennaro’s bar at N. Causeway (3200 Metairie Rd.), proceeds down Metairie Rd. to Frisco, and finishes just before the train tracks.
Participants will experience a parade-like atmosphere with crowds cheering as they complete the course before the St. Patrick’s Day parade which rolls on the same route.
Race Day Schedule
8:00 am – Race bib and t-shirt pick up and Race Day registration open inside Gennaro’s Restaurant/Bar.
8:30 am – Pre-race warm up on Metairie Rd near the Start Line.
8:45 am – Final Announcements and the National Anthem begin near Start Line on Metairie Rd.
9:00 am – Start time!
9:15 am – The St. Patrick’s Day Classic post-race party begins.
11:00 am – The St. Patrick’s Day Parade begins and the St. Patrick’s Day Classic post-race party officially ends.
Parking
Parking is first-come, first-served street parking. We suggest that you arrive early or arrange to be dropped off near the start, as parking along the parade route can be tricky..
Post-Race Festivities
Participants are invited to attend a post-race party after the race. Michelob Ultra green beer, Blue Runner Foods St. Patty’s Day special food items and more will be provided for race participants at the post-race party.

Are walkers and strollers welcome?
Absolutely! Just please be courteous to our runners and line up near the back on Race Day.
Is There an Entry Fee for the Post-Race Party?
No! Runners, friends and family are all welcome to attend! We will have complimentary food and beer for everyone!
How do I qualify for a Seeded Start Corral in the CCC10k?
Participants must complete the St. Patricks Day Classic in under 16 minutes to qualify for a seeded starting corral in this year’s CCC10k.
