and Kids' Fun Run


The Kids' Fun Run starts at 8:00 am, with the Levee Run starting at 8:30 am.

The Kids' Fun Run will be less than a mile. Participants will receive a t-shirt and giveaway, just like runners of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Levee Run!
*To register for the Kid's Fun Run, you must be 10 years old or younger.

The race begins on River Road near Labarre Rd (and the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge).  Participants will run down River Road to the Huey P Long bridge, continue up onto the Levee, run back along the Mississippi River, and end on River Road in front of Ochsner Hospital. The post-race party will take place inside the Gayle and Tom Benson Cancer Center lot, adjacent to the finish line, where you can enjoy free food, Michelob Ultra beer, and live local music!

Participants can pick up their bib number from the Registration Tents inside the Ochsner parking lot at Labarre & River Rd. on Race Day, or before race day during Early Number Pickup.

Each bib number will have a timing chip attached to the back - DO NOT REMOVE THIS. Commemorative shirts will be given to ALL race participants on Race Day at the end of the race or during Early Number Pickup.


Proceeds from the race will be donated to Ochsner Hospital for Children.

Ochsner Hospital for Children offers a level of pediatric care unmatched in Louisiana for everything from well-child check-ups and immunizations to cancer care and heart transplants.  With pediatric services available at 14 locations throughout Louisiana, we are able to serve over 80,000 individual children per year, and thanks to your support, we can care for even more kids across the region.

After all, the only thing tougher than the problems we treat are the kids themselves.

The time and place for all finishers will be recorded. Overall awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the open division. Awards will be given to the 1st overall male and female finishers in the Masters, Grandmasters, Seniors, Legends, and Ancients divisions, as well as to the top male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 +

NOTE: No duplication of awards.



Participants are invited to attend the Michelob Ultra Post-Race Party and awards ceremony after the race at the Gayle and Tom Benson Cancer Center Parking Lot (adjacent to the finish line/behind the main campus on River Road).  Live entertainment by Miss Mojo, Michelob Ultra Beer, Kentwood Springs water, Gatorade, Rouses Fruit and Blue Runner Foods Red Beans and Rice will be complimentary for all race participants.  Tasc Performance and local food trucks will also be attending, so don't forget debit cards/cash!
