Fall Classic General Info

 

The 5k race begins at 8:30 am, on Saturday, Nov. 3rd, inside New Orleans City Park on Golf Dr. (near the Practice Track).  Race Day number pick up and late registration will begin at 7:00am inside the Practice Track field (just off Roosevelt Mall St.)  The race ends on the Practice Track, where the post-race party will be held!  

Registration Fees: $35 thru November 2nd and $40.00 on Race Day. $20 for Grant Program participants. 

 

BIB NUMBERS AND RACE T-SHIRTS:

All participants will receive a bib number.  Each bib number will have a timing chip attached to the back - DO NOT REMOVE THIS.  Please pick up your bib number from the registration tents inside the Practice Track field on Race Day 7:00-8:30am or before race day during "Early Number Pick Up".

Commemorative race t-shirts will be given to all race participants on Race Day, before & after the race, or during Early Number Pick Up.     

 


POST-RACE PARTY:

Participants are invited to attend a post-race party and awards ceremony after the race, held inside the New Orleans City Park Practice Track. Live entertainment, Michelob Ultra beer and other refreshments provided by our sponsors will be available for all.  

Don't forget to run with your wallets!  There will be food trucks, as well as tasc performance + CCC Merchandise on sale!

Friends and family of participants are welcome to attend for free. We invite you to bring kids, we an obstacle course inflatable, face painting and other kid-friendly games.

SCORING AND AWARDS:

The time and place for all finishers will be recorded. Overall awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the open division, and to the first overall male and female finishers in the Masters (40+ yrs), Grandmasters (50+), Seniors (60+) and the top finisher in the Legends (70+) divisions.  Age Group awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 7 and under, 8-9,10-11,12-13, 14-15, 16-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+  

NOTE: No duplication of awards.

We will also be awarding the Grant Program spirit award and cash grants to the local schools and non-profit organizations who registered the most participants for this year's Fall Classic.
