A New Orleans tradition that is here to stay!
Held in one of the most historic and unique cities in the country, the Classic attracts runners of all ages and experience levels. In fact, due to the flat terrain of New Orleans, the Classic has seen more Olympians and faster times than any other 10,000 meter Bridge Run in the world. But it's not the elite athletes that make the Crescent City Classic...it's the colorful characters in the back of the pack that add the New Orleans flavor to the race. Fitting with New Orleans tradition, the Crescent City Classic rewards participants at the finish line with great food, cold drinks, and entertainment from our world-renowned local music community.
Over the years, the Health & Fitness Expo has grown to become the fun and energetic atmosphere we enjoy today, where participants can register for the race, pick up their commemorative T-shirts and other items, and enjoy all of the various exhibits, shopping, and presentations. The Health & Fitness Expo provides your business the opportunity to directly interact with over 20,000 participants and their families and friends from New Orleans and its surrounding areas, as well as elite runners from all over the globe, giving you the opportunity to introduce your business to new potential customers while strengthening connections with existing customers.
The Expo has grown to become the fun and energetic atmosphere we enjoy today, as over 20,000 participants join us each year. It is this growth that requires our staff to reassess our operating procedures each year to accommodate the ever-increasing crowds.
