Crescent City Fall Classic

Held the second Saturday in November, this race has multiple audiences. Serious runners can use this event as a qualifier to earn a prime starting position in the Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic 10k. This is the ONLY opportunity to run a qualifying time at the 5k distance! In addition, the CC FALL Classic encourages participation by area students. Ranging from the 6th grade through college, young runners from throughout the region come for the camaraderie and competition. With age specific prizes for everyone starting at age twelve, and cash grants for those schools with the greatest number of participants, this is always a spirited event and a great introduction to running events for young runners.

Race T-shirts
All registered runners will receive an official Fall Classic Race T-shirt as part of their entry fee & can pick up their t-shirt after the race at the Post-Race Festival on the Practice Track.
Bib Numbers
All runners will also receive Bib numbers with B-tag timing chips attached to the back. DO NOT REMOVE this if you want to be timed. Please wear your bib number on the front of your shirt on race day. Lost bib numbers will NOT be replaced. You must re-register. You can pick up your bib number on race day morning, starting at 7:00am, inside the Practice Track or from Early Number-Pick up: date/time TBD.
Course Map + Parking
There is plenty of free parking inside and outside the park. Parking inside Tad Gormley Stadium will NO LONGER be available and please DO NOT park on the Neutral Grounds.

The Post-race Festival
FREE Blue Runner, Michelob-Ultra beer, Kentwood water, Gatorade and snacks will be available after the race on the Practice Track in City Park ... near the Finish line. The Award Ceremony will take place after the race on stage, as well as live music entertainment. Musical Entertainment to be announced soon!
Awards
Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers, as well as the 1st place male and female master (40+ yrs) and grandmaster (50+) finishers. Awards will be given to the 1st place male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 13 & under, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over. NOTE: The overall winners are not eligible for the age group awards.
Completing the Fall Classic in the following times will automatically qualify you for a seeded position in the 2014 CCC10k:
"A" Group.... 17:30 (35:00 10k)
"B" Group.... 20:00 (40:00 10k)
"C" Group.... 22:00 (45:00 10k)
**When registering for the 2014 Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic 10k, please just list "Fall Classic" as your qualifying race, and we will verify your time!**
