Crescent City Fall Classic

Held the first Saturday in November, this race has multiple audiences. Serious runners use this as a qualifier to earn a prime starting position in the Crescent City Classic. A great many of those participating are area students. Ranging from the 6th grade through college, young runners from throughout the region come for the camaraderie and competition. With age specific prizes for everyone starting at age twelve, and cash grants for those schools with the greatest number of participants, this is always a spirited event and a great introduction to running events for young runners. Next year's event is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2008 @ 8:30 AM.

Congratulations to our 2007 Spirit Award Winner, Haynes Academy. They won a prize package that includes a cash grant of $2,500.00, CCC Posters and free entries to the upcoming Crescent City Classic.

In addition, Dulas Church won a grant of $2,500.00 to help them continue to promote health and fitness.

Individual results are now posted above. Participants qualifying for a seeded position in the 31st Crescent City Classic should check our website to see their seeding group, in December.
